Paddy needs little introduction as a formative influence in collecting, singing and recording traditional song in six major collections plus several books. His first book, "The Stone Fiddle" from 1979 is commonly described as "the bible of traditional song" containing 69 songs and poems. This book is out of print but will soon be available on CD.
